Why I Started The Context Engineers
I'm Nacho — a marine technology engineer who moved to Norway to work on offshore platforms. It was the dream.
In offshore, systems work safely because there's no room for failure: documented procedures, clear flows, careful oversight of critical decisions. That engineering rigor stuck with me.
But working in a large corporation, I saw the other side: how slow and repetitive bureaucracy can be. I started looking for ways to automate the boring stuff and focus on what actually matters. I wanted to add value, not be stuck in an office doing repetitive tasks.
I couldn't find tools that fit my needs. So I built them myself.
When I looked at how most businesses approach AI, I found a huge gap: a brutal lack of knowledge about what's actually possible. With the right context, everything is possible.
That's why I created The Context Engineers: to bring that engineering rigor to AI — systems that work in the real world, with proper context, clear flows, and humans where they should be.
